Hiroshi Fujioka Teams Up With Tommy Lee Jones For Boss Coffee Ads
The original Kamen Rider Hiroshi Fujioka is featured alongside Tommy Lee Jones For Boss coffee advertisements.
This week, a new series of ads for Boss Coffee was unveiled featuring actors Hiroshi Fujioka and Tommy Lee Jones. In the commercial, Fujioka is seen alongside Jones coming to the aid of some travelers who are trying to relax with some Craft Boss coffee, but have run into a dangerous snake. Jones was said to have gotten along well with Fujioka during the shooting of the commercial, as they were both born in 1946.
Fujioka is best known for his role as Hongo Takeshi/ Kamen Rider 1 in the original 1970 Kamen Rider series. He last reprised the role in the Kamen Rider Ichigou movie during the run of 2015’s Kamen Rider Ghost. He has also notably portrayed the character of Segata Sanshiro in a series of ads for the Sega Saturn in the mid 90’s; a role which he reprised earlier this year.
Jones is a film actor with decades of work under his belt including such films as Men in Black, No Country For Old Men, and Captain America: The First Avenger to name just a few. For years, Jones has been a staple of Boss Coffee ads playing a non-speaking alien who goes about various jobs in and around Japan.
