Masaya Matsukaze Cast as Suiryu in Second Season of One-Punch Man

The former sentai star, who played Megablue in Denji Sentai Megaranger, will now be playing a character in season 2 of the popular One-Punch Man anime.

The One-Punch Man official site has listed the voice actors for the characters that will be making appearances in season 2, confirming Matsukaze being cast in the role of Suiryu, the cheerful and easygoing champion of the Super Fight competition.

In addition to his role as Megablue in Denji Sentai Megaranger, Matsukaze also has appeared in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger as a disguise for Shurikenger, Engine Sentai Go-Onger as Gokugokumaru, and Samurai Sentai Shinkenger as Masataka Shiba, the previous Shinken Red. He also has a long list of anime and video game voice roles in works such as Death Note, Rockman.EXE, and Shenmue.

One-Punch Man is now airing, with Hulu acquiring exclusive streaming rights in the U.S.
