Toei Releases Metalder on YouTube for Free

Toei’s official YouTube channel will now feature the entirety of Metalder for certain parts of the world.

The Toei YouTube channel will be periodically uploading the full 39 episode run of Choujinki Metalder – while they have previously uploaded episodes of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, it is rare for Metal Hero to receive the same treatment. Like all of their episodes, these will be region locked in the United States.

Debuting in 1987, the show follows Metalder, a top-secret android that was made to fight in the Pacific War of 1945. When he witnesses the death of his creator, at the hands of the evil God Neros, he is fueled with rage and fights with purpose. The action footage from Metalder was used in Saban’s VR Troopers.
