Nana Asakawa to Appear in Super Sentai Miniseries

Idol and actress Nana Asakawa will make an appearance in Super Sentai Strongest Battle!!, the miniseries to air after Lupinranger VS Patranger.

Nana Asakawa will be playing the role of Rita, a mysterious girl on the planet Nemesis who summons heroes from across several Super Sentai series. There, they must win the Super Sentai Strongest Battle in order to make their wish come true. Rita is described as having a cute Arabian style.

According to Toei’s production blog, Asakawa had never been in a Sentai production before, but warmed up to it once she met the co-director Koichi Sakamoto. Apart from various TV and movie appearances, Nana Asakawa is a former member of the band Super Girls.

Episode 1 of Super Sentai Strongest Battle!! will air on February 17th, episode 2 on February 24th, episode 3 on March 3rd, and episode 4 on March 10th.

Slight correction, but she’s a former member of the band Super Girls. The source article states she graduated just earlier this month, 11th of January.
