“Kouhei Takeda Night” Event Announced
Success of latest Kamen Rider movie prompts fan event with two time Kamen Rider actor
In celebration of the box office success of Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER, a fan event entitled ‘Kouhei Takeda Night’ has been announced and will be held on February 14th in Shinjuku at the Shinjuku Wald 9 theater.
The event with the actor will be a double feature, including a screening of Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER as well as Episode 47: “Zero Degree Flames” of Kamen Rider Build, which will have commentary provided by Takeda. Additionally on January 27, a screening of Kamen Rider Kiva the Movie: King of Castle in Demon World will be held, marking 11 years to the date of the debut episode of Kamen Rider Kiva.
Takeda first became know to fans in the role of Otoya Kurenai/ Kamen Rider IXA ’86 in 2008’s Kamen Rider Kiva, which he reprised a year later in Kamen Rider Decade as Kamen Rider Dark Kiva. Most recently, his role as Kazumi Sawatari/Kamen Rider Grease saw his return to the franchise a full decade apart. Takeda considers himself a “child of Heisei Kamen Rider”.
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER is currently playing in theaters in Japan.
