VOLKS USA Debuts New Dollfie Dream Figures at Anime NYC
Figures based on the hit Square Enix video game, NieR:Automata, will be displayed at this year’s Anime NYC.
NieR:Automata is set on a world that has been overtaken by machine lifeforms and follows 2B, an android tasked with battling the machines and aiding the surviving humans. Thanks in part to her stoic nature, 2B has become a fan favorite since the release of the game, inspiring various forms of collectibles based on the character.
A figure based on 9S, one of the game’s main antagonists is also being displayed at the convention. Much like 2B, 9S is an android who fought in the 14th machine war within the story of the games. Despite his nature as a villain, he was originally programmed with a kind personality.
