August 28th Now Recognized as National Power Rangers Day

August 28th has been recognized as National Power Rangers Day.

The day celebrates the launch of the original 1993 series, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers based on the 1992 Super Sentai series, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. August 28th was selected as the date in commemoration of the broadcast of the show’s first episode, Day of the Dumpster.

Fans are encouraged to take to social media to show off their love for the series by displaying their memories associated with the shows broadcast throughout the years.
