SSSS.Gridman Suit Revealed

A physical suit for the upcoming Gridman sequel was shown at a special event.

SSSS.Gridman, Studio Trigger’s sequel to Gridman: The Hyper Agent, is not a typical tokusatsu, as it’s an anime instead of a live action. Despite that, an SSSS.Gridman Special Night event was held, which featured the original Gridman suit next to a suit for the anime design.

The anime is set to premiere in October 2018, written by Keiichi Hasegawa (Ultraman Nexus, Kamen Rider W, Zoids), with the original voice of Gridman, Hikaru Midorikawa, reprising his role. The first episode premiered at Anime Expo to much praise and will be made available in a stream from Funimation.
