Power Morphicon 2018 Guide

Everything you need to know about the Power Rangers-themed convention Power Morphicon.

Power Morphicon 2018, will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise. It boasts over 100 guests, which were announced in February, March, April, June, and July. The convention will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center at Anaheim, California, from August 17th (Friday) to August 19th (Sunday).

Online registration is available until July 23rd, with Red, Blue, and Yellow membership tiers still available. Pink tier for children under 12 is free with paid Adult purchase.

Among the many guests announced are several of the core cast from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers:

Jason David Frank (Tommy / Green Ranger) – Saturday only.
Austin St. John (Jason / Red Ranger) – Special Thursday appearance.
Walter Jones (Zack / Black Ranger)
Steve Cardenas (Rocky / Red Ranger)
Karan Ashley (Aisha / Yellow Ranger)
David Fielding (Zordon)
Paul Schier (Bulk)
Jason Narvy (Skull)

Below is the schedule for the event.

Day 0 (Thursday, August 16th)

Special signing event with Austin St. John. Hours to be announced.

Day 1 (Friday, August 17th)

Badge pickup begins 12pm. Floor hours 4pm-10pm.
Open to pre-registered full-show pass holders only.

Day 2 (Saturday, August 18th)

Floor hours 10am-6pm.
Doors open at 9am for Gold and Platinum Memberships.

Day 3 (Sunday, August 19th)

Floor hours 10am-5pm.
Doors open at 9am for Gold and Platinum Memberships.

Spread out throughout these days are vendors, artists, celebrities, cosplay contests, meet and greens, photo ops, and more.

A special action figure of Lord Drakkon, primary villain of BOOM! Studios’ Shattered Grid event, will be available with purchase of the ticket. Also exclusive at the convention is a black and gold variant of the Dino Megazord by Funko Pop.

Included is an exclusive t-shirt available for purchase, as well as metal Morphin’ Coins and specialized merchandise for membership tier.
