New Trailer Streams Online for Bleach Live-Action Film
New trailer for upcoming live-action Bleach film adaptation previews theme song and featured song performed by [ALEXANDROS].
On April 20th, the official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga began streaming a new trailer. The new trailer previews both the film’s theme song “Mosquito Bite” and its featured song “MILK” that are performed by the Japanese band [ALEXANDROS].
Before the trailer came out, the film’s official Twitter account uploaded teaser visuals as a countdown for the release of the trailer.
Previously on February 16th, Warner Bros. Japan streamed a teaser trailer for the film.
The main cast for the Bleach film includes: Sota Fukushi (Gentaro Kisaragi/Kamen Rider Fourze from Kamen Rider Fourze) portraying the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, Hana Sugisaki (Rin from Blade of the Immortal, Mary from Mary and The Witch’s Flower, Sayaka from When Marnie Was There) portraying Rukia Kuchiki, Ryo Yoshizawa (Ryusei Sakuta/Kamen Rider Meteor from Kamen Rider Fourze) portraying Uryu Ishida, Taichi Saotome (Takeshis’) portraying Renji Abarai, and MIYAVI (Gunpei Ikari from Kong: Skull Island) portraying Byakuya Kuchiki.
Shinsuke Sato, director of the live-action Gantz film as well as I Am a Hero and Death Note: Light up the New World is helming the film. Moreover, the film will revolve around the “Substitute Shinigami Arc,” the manga’s first arc which ran from its first-eighth volume.
Bleach is set to open in theaters in Japan on July 20th, 2018.
