Uchū Sentai Kyuranger’s Takumi Kizu Stars in Ao-Natsu Live-Action Film Adaptation
Takumi Kizu of Uchū Sentai Kyuranger (Space Sentai Kyuranger) fame joins the cast for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Atsuko Nanba’s manga.
The official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Atsuko Nanba’s Ao-Natsu manga revealed an August 1st opening date and the cast for the film on March 7th, 2018.
Wakana Aoi (Ten Fujioka from Warotenka) is set to play as the protagonist Rio, with Hayato Sano (M!K) playing the main male lead Ginzō.
Joining them will be Seika Furuhata (Yoriko Kosaka from Tokyo Ghoul) as Marika, Ginzō’s childhood friend; Takumi Kizu (Lucky/Shishi Red from Uchū Sentai Kyuranger) as Yūma, a boy in love with Rio; Rinka Kumada (Shiori Sano from Mixed Doubles) as Aya, Rio’s classmate; Atomu Mizuishi (Kensuke Kurosaki from Corpse Party: Book of Shadows) as Namio, Ginzō’s classmate; Shiori Akita (Yoshida from Setoutsumi) as Satsuki, Ginzō’s classmate; and Reo Shimura (Super★Dragon) as Takaya, Yūma’s classmate.
Takeshi Furusawa (ReLIFE) is helming the film, with Yukiko Mochiji (Aozora Yell) writing the script.
