Ryō Yoshizawa Cast for Bleach Live-Action Film Adaptation
Kamen Rider Fourze‘s Ryō Yoshizawa joins the cast for the upcoming live-action film adaptation for Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga.
On March 9th, the official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga revealed three new cast members.
These three new cast members are Ryō Yoshizawa (Ryusei Sakuta/Kamen Rider Meteor from Kamen Rider Fourze) as Uryū Ishida, Taichi Saotome (Takeshis’) as Renji Abarai, and MIYAVI (Gunpei Ikari from Kong: Skull Island) as Byakuya Kuchiki.
They will be joining previously announced cast members Sota Fukushi (Gentaro Kisaragi/Kamen Rider Fourze from Kamen Rider Fourze) portraying the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, and Hana Sugisaki (Rin from Blade of the Immortal, Mary from Mary and The Witch’s Flower, Sayaka from When Marnie Was There) portraying Rukia Kuchiki.
On February 16th, 2018, Warner Bros. Japan streamed a new teaser trailer on their official YouTube channel for the Bleach film.
Shinsuke Satō, director of the live-action Gantz film as well as I Am a Hero and Death Note: Light up the New World is helming the film. Moreover, the film will revolve around the “Substitute Shinigami Arc,” the manga’s first arc which ran from its first-eighth volume
Bleach is set to open in theaters in Japan on July 20th, 2018.
