Epson Smart Canvas Watch Collaborations Announced
Premium Bandai is offering smart watch collaborations between Epson and both the Ultraman and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid series. The smart watches display graphics on a liquid crystal screen.
The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid watch is programmed with more than 70 different images, from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and other Heisei era Riders, that cycle at various intervals. Special images are displayed for holidays and anniversaries, including a special memorial day for each Kamen Rider, such as Kamen Rider OOO’s “Pants Day” on August 2nd.
The Kamen Rider watch is offered with three different band styles and opened for reservations on Premium Bandai’s website in September. It is priced at 31,320¥ and will release in January 2018.
The Ultraman smart canvas watch will display more than 70 illustrations, from the original Ultraman up through the latest, Ultraman Geed. The pictures will change at different intervals. Exclusive images will be displayed on special anniversary dates, including April 9th, when the last Ultraman episode was aired.
The watch will be available with two different band styles: a full pattern strap or a silhouette displaying Ultraman’s chest pattern. They are available for pre-order on Premium Bandai as of November 15th, priced at 31,320¥, and are scheduled for January 2018 release.
