Ultraman Taro HD Remaster 2.0 Blu-Ray Details Listing

The HD remaster for Ultraman Taro will be released on Blu-ray on December 22nd, 2017, for ¥49,800.

The HD remaster of 1973 series Ultraman Taro of the Ultra franchise has been listed to be released on Blu-ray on December 22nd, 2017. It will cost ¥49,800. Previously, the HD remaster broadcast on TV, but now has been further touched up, therefore creating an “HD Remaster 2.0” that leaves the film entirely grainless.

The Blu-ray release comes in a box that contains all 53 episodes of the series. This equals to a total of 1402 minutes run time, which is composed of 1342 minutes from the series and 60 minutes from the bonus disc. Furthermore, staff interviews for the series are included with the release.

The plot synopsis of Ultraman Taro is described as: “Ultraman No. 6. A solitary young man, Kotaro Higashi (portrayed by Saburo Shinoda), entrusted with hope. The story begins with Kotaro at a great crossroads in his life that will lead him down the path of noble action.”
