Premium Bandai Brave Kyoryuzin Set Announced

Premium Bandai has released new product information for the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Kamitsuki Gattai Brave Kyoryuzin Set, the toy version of the featured giant robo of Zyuden Sentai Kyoyuger Brave. 

The Brave Kyoryuzin Set will include five Zyudenryu; Guntyra, Shovecera, Stegonsaw, Parasaser, and Rapx. The set will also include eight Zyudenchi; Guntyra, Stegonsaw, Shovecera, Parasaser, Rapx, Kyoryuger, Candelira, and Luckyuro.

Guntyra is equipped with a powerful gatling gun mounted on its head. Brave Kyoryuzin’s head also has a gatling gun incorporated.  Stegonsaw possesses a chainsaw mounted in its head, giving Brave Kyoryuzin a handheld chainsaw weapon when transformed into an arm.  Shovecera has a shovel mounted on its head, giving Brave Kyoryuzin a drill and shovel combo weapon for its arm. Parasaser is equipped with a long barrel laser in its mouth. When transformed as Brave Kyoryuzin’s arm, Parasaser’s tail becomes a laser as well. Rapx has an axe attached to its tail, becoming an axe weapon for Brave Kyoryuzin.

By combining the Zyudenryu it is possible to form two types of giant robo. Brave Kyoryuzin is formed with Guntyra, Stegonsaw and Shovecera, while Guntyra, Parasaser and Rapx form Brave Kyoryuzin Western.

Approximately 70 sounds are newly recorded for the Guntyra toy, including sounds by Shigeru Chiba, the series narrator and voice of their arsenal. Haruka Tomatsu and Ai Orikasa reprise their roles as Candelira and Luckyuro respectively, and have provided voices for their Zyudenchi such as “Keep Smiling Yo!” and “Luckyu!”.

The 37th Super Sentai, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger aired from 2013-2014, revives as a sequel with a Korean cast titled Power Rangers Dino Force Brave. The series began streaming in Japan on April 14, 2017 as Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club app and Bandai’s official YouTube channel with Japanese voice dubbing.

The Zyuden Sentai Kyoyuger Brave Kamitsuki Gattai Brave Kyoryuzin Set is priced at 19,440 yen. Preorders are open now and will conclude on July 3, 2017 at 23:00 JST. The set will release sometime in September, 2017.
