DX Taiko no Tatsujin Gashat and Kamen Rider Genm DVD Set Revealed

A recent listing from Toys “R” Us Japan has revealed the DX Taiko no Tatsujin Gashat & Kamen Rider Genm DVD Set. 

Toys “R” Us Japan has recently posted a listing for the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid DX Taiko no Tatsujin Gashat & Kamen Rider Genm DVD Set. The Kamen Rider Genm DVD will contain all three parts of the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid [Tricks]: Kamen Rider Genm spin off series. Parts 1 and 2, Legend Rider Stage and Legend Gamer Stage, of the series were released on the Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Channel, while Part 3 will be exclusive to the DVD.

The Taiko no Tatsujin Gastat will be featured in Part 3 of the Kamen Rider Genm series. This item is based on the Bandai-Namco Taiko drum rhythm game series, Taiko no Tatsujin. The game was released in English as Taiko: Drum Master for the Playstation 2 in 2004. Previously, Part 2 of the Kamen Rider Genm series, “Legend Gamer Stage” also featured Rider Gashats based on real Bandai-Namco games such as Pac-Man, Famista, and Xevious.

The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid [Tricks]: Kamen Rider Genm series was officially announced December 26, 2016 as a YouTube spinoff series, described as a “surprising collaboration of the Legend Riders and real games!”. The series takes place after the events of the 2016 Kamen Rider Heisei Generations film.

The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid DX Taiko no Tatsujin Gashat & Kamen Rider Genm DVD Set will release April 17, 2017 for a retail price of  ¥3,778 with tax included.
