TV Asahi Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Blog Update

TV Asahi’s Kamen Rider Ex-Aid weekly blog was updated on January 6, 2017 with a special message from Hayato Onozuka, preview images of episode 13, and more. 

TV Asahi was surprised at the reaction of the latest episode of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid “Christmas Special: Targeting the Silver X-Mas!” that aired on December 25, 2016.

The last broadcast in 2016 was shocking. Everyone posted lots of comments on the blog, but I understand how everyone feels. This is a response to the voice of all those people… This is a Special Edition message!

Hayato Onozuka (Kiriya Kujo/Kamen Rider Lazer) wrote a short blog post, expressing his gratitude to the staff and viewers.

Happy New Year to you all! This is the first blog posted in 2017 It’s Kiriya Kujo! (laugh) Through the impressions from SNS and cast blog from last year’s Christmas broadcast, I am surprised at the magnitude of the response. I was really able to appear in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. To the staff that gave me the role of Kiriya Kujo, and for all the viewer who loved and supported me, I am full of appreciation!

As just one actor, I think everyone’s support and opinions are so valuable.

Also, the second chapter of Ex-Aid that starts this week will further bring waves of development. Was Kiriya Kujo’s secrets of Kuroto Dan left behind with his arrow? Can you win against Level X? Parad’s future is also worrisome! I think I will dig deeply and keep an eye on it. Please also enjoy Chapter 2. Thank you again!

Hiroki Iijima’s (Emu Hojo/Kamen Rider Ex-Aid) video blog “I Will Clear It with No Continues by Hiroki Iijima” will update on Sunday, January 8, 2017. The video will also feature Toshiki Seto (Hiiro Kagami/Kamen Rider Brave) and Ukyo Matsumoto (Taiga Hanaya/Kamen Rider Snipe).

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man vs. Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Rider is currently in theaters in Japan.

In 2017, the movie is still in theaters nationwide, and is a big hit still in progress. Michihiko Zaizen takes on the role of Dr.Pac-Man, the most terrible enemy. Professional wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi plays Dr. Pac-Man’s friend, Soji Kuruse (Robol Bugster). Suzunosuke (Kazushige Ryuzaki/Doral Bugster) and Chihiro Yamamoto (Ageha Takedawho/Giril Bugster) are also a big success!

TV Asahi has released new mobile content, available only in Japan.

A new wallpaper on Android and iOS devices featuring Kamen Rider Genm Zombie Gamer Level X.

This wallpaper is now on sale. He’s a bad guy who has defeated Lazer, but… he is too cool. Wallpapers of each Level 1, Level 4, and Level 5 of Ex-Aid, Brave, Snipe are also on sale.

Two Kamen Rider Ex-Aid themed Android-only widgets have also been released: a Data Quantity Meter and Battery Level Meter. These images are available to download and to use as fans please.

Additional Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Android-only content includes a screen filter image, screen unlocking game, and free live wallpaper.

A ringtone of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s theme song “EXCITE” by Daichi Miura has also been released, ahead of the CD release on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

To commemorate the end of the 45th anniversary of Kamen Rider, there will be a special 2 day live show event.

The 45th anniversary of Kamen Rider‘s birth and Super Sentai series is closing. To celebrate, there will be a 2 day music event: Kamen Rider Day on January 21, 2017 and Super Sentai Day on January 22, 2017. There will also be a panel featuring the casts of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger.

Official applications for The Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club are open to residents in Japan. For a monthly fee of 960 yen, users are able to stream episodes from past seasons of Kamen Rider and access app-only content.
