Ultraman Orb the Origin Saga Begins December 26, 2016

The series titled Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga premieres on Amazon Prime beginning December 26, 2016.

Announced earlier this year, a 15 second teaser was released for the upcoming origin story mini-series with the narrator saying, “Every story has a beginning. How was the warrior of light born?”

Ultraman Orb is nearing the end of its run, but fans won’t have to wait until the movie to see Kurenai Gai and his nemesis Jugglus Juggler again. On December 26th, Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga will premier exclusively on Amazon Prime, with a new episode coming out every Monday for the next twelve weeks.

Tsuburaya is planning to have both English and German subtitles available.

The new show is a prequel that focuses on the origins of Gai and Juggler, so Hideo Ishiguro and Takaya Aoyagi are returning to their respective roles. Kazuya Konaka (Ultraman The Next, Ultraman Nexus, Ultraman Ginga) is directing, and Yuji Kobayashi (Ultraman Max, Ultraman Mebius) is writing.
