Second “Godzilla: Resurgence” Trailer Released

Toho unveiled a new trailer for Godzilla: Resurgence less than two weeks before its Japanese opening.

Godzilla: Resurgence is nearly upon us. Greenlit after the success of the 2014 American film, Resurgence is the first Japanese Godzilla film since 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars.

The film comes out in Japan next Friday, July 29th, so Toho released one last preview to get people ready. The trailer features a few new shots of the human cast, as well as a final shot of the King of Monsters preparing his signature attack.

Godzilla: Resurgence is written and directed by Hideaki Anno, of Neon Genesis Evangelion fame, and co-directed by Shinji Higuchi, director of the Attack on Titan films. The film comes out on July 29th, 2016 in Japan.
