Kouki Uchiyama Cast as Tomura Shigaraki in My Hero Academia

Voice actor, Kouki Uchiyama, has been cast as Tomura Shigaraki in My Hero Academia

Uchiyama, whose credits also include voicing Marionette Shadow in Ressha Sentai ToQger and an appearance in Ultraman Cosmos,  will be voicing the first major antagonist in My Hero Academia. With a twisted personality Shigaraki has no qualms about killing anyone who gets in his way of getting to All Might.

My Hero Academia is a story centering Izuku Midoriya, a boy without powers in a world full of superheroes. His dream is to become a hero like his icon All Might, and to attend UA, an academy for heroes in training.

Tomura Shigaraki is set to appear in episode 8, which premieres on May 22nd. The anime is simlucast by Funimation, and the original manga is published by Viz Media
