Latin America Power Rangers Voice Actor Jesús Barrero Passes Away

Voice actor Jesús Barrero, popular in Latin America, has passed away.

Barrero, who is known in Latin America for his many roles, including Luke Skywalker, Jason in Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and Seiya in the Spanish Saint Seiya TV series, passed away at age 58 on Wednesday. Barrero also reprised the role of Seiya in the Hades Chapter OVAs produced more than a decade after the conclusion of the original TV series.

An immediate cause of death was not revealed, though it was suspected the actor had been suffering from cancer.
