Bay Area Film Events Hosting 4th Annual Godzilla Night

BAFE’s event on June 20th will celebrate the successfully crowdfunded Kaiju Gaiden documentary.

The one night film fest is a celebration of both Godzilla and independent tokusatsu, the subject of Kaiju Gaiden. Hosted at California’s historic Bal Theatre, the event will feature screenings, raffles, and other fun features. Mark Jaramillo, founder of the Independent Kaiju Project, will be there to screen some of the films featured in Kaiju Gaiden, like Gamera 4 and Wolfman vs. Godzilla.

Godzilla Night’s co-feature will be Godzilla, King of the Monsters!, the American version of the original kaiju film with actor Raymond Burr edited in. There will also be a screening of the film that launched BAFE’s first Godzilla Night, King Kong vs. Godzilla. For more info and to purchase tickets, check out the event’s Facebook page.
