Ultra Fight Victory Now Available With English Subtitles

Tsuburaya’s YouTube channel has uploaded the first episode of the Ultraman Ginga S spin-off series, Ultra Fight Victory, with English subtitles.

Directed by Koichi Sakamoto and spinning off directly from the Ultraman Ginga S movie, Decisive Battle! The 10 Ultra Warriors, Ultra Fight Victory headlines Show, Sakuya, and Lepi as they face a new threat and new monsters. The series features a new upgrade for Ultraman Victory, the all-blue Ultraman Victory Knight. It’s worth noting that this is the first-ever Ultra Series to be released with English subtitles on Tsuburaya’s channel.

Ultra Fight was originally a series of 195 shorts featuring stock footage and brand new fights utilizing Tsuburaya’s costumes from Ultraseven and Ultraman. The series proved popular enough to revive the Ultra Series in 1971 with The Return of Ultraman. Following a series of spin-offs, including Mirror Fight in 1974 with Mirrorman, the Ultra Fight format returned to television in 2013 with Ultra Zero Fight.

Each part of Ultra Fight Victory will air with episodes of Shin Ultraman Retsuden, which is also available on Tsuburaya’s YouTube Channel, on Fridays. The stand-alone English subtitled Ultra Fight Victory episodes, meanwhile, will be released on Wednesdays.
