Restart of TOHO’s Gransazer a Possibility
A tweet regarding a possible revival based on TOHO’s Star God trilogy from the early 2000s was recently posted.
Suit actor Koji Shirahama has mentioned a “Gransazer restart” and asks people to cheer him on in his tweet. While he is asking for support, as of this posting, there is no confirmation that this project is moving forward.
Gransazer is part of the larger “Star God” trilogy of shows from TOHO that ran from 2003 through 2006. The series was composed of Chouseishin Gransazer, Genseishin Justirisers, and Chousei Kantai Sazer-X. The cast of Gransazer held a mini reunion in October to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series. The Tokusatsu Network had the opportunity to sit down with Sazer-X actor Robert Baldwin early last year.

Think that it would be awesome to have a big revival like kuuga did in 1999 to it’s airing of 2000 that began for the start of the heisei kamen rider series

Woah! The casts of gransazers held a mini reunion? That sounds cool! I thought they kind of broke off already. It’ll be nice to see a sequel of that awesome show.
