New Scans Reveal Gaim’s New Kamen Riders – Idunn and Tyrant

Scans from Televi-Kun and TV-Magazine featuring the new Kamen Riders to appear in the Kamen Rider Gaim Side Story: Kamen Rider Zangetsu/Kamen Rider Baron have been leaked online.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu will make an assault on Yggdrasil Corporation and will do battle with the new mysterious Kamen Rider Idunn in the upcoming direct-to-dvd release Kamen Rider Gaim Side Story: Kamen Rider Zangetsu/Kamen Rider Baron.

In Norse Mythology, Idunn (Iðunn) is the goddess associated with apples and youth. As seen in the scanned image, Kamen Rider Idunn’s base form is called Apple Arms.

Kamen Rider Baron will be fighting the villainous Kamen Rider Tyrant who dons the Dragon Energy Arms.

Another scan reveals that Kamen Rider Baron will also be using the “Kindan no Ringo Lock Seed (Forbidden Apple). Note that this new item is labeled  LS-Taboo.

While Kamen Rider Zangetsu will equip Watermelon Arms. This new Lock Seed maintains Zangetsu’s base form without the heavy armor unlike Suika Arms. Note that it says “PROTO-10” possibly indicating that this Lock Seed may be a prototype of the Suika arms.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu will be written by Jin Haganeya, while Nobuhiro Mouri will write Kamen Rider Baron. The stories will be set some time after episode 20 of the series and will introduce new forms as well as new Riders.

The regular DVD version will cost 4,500 yen and the regular Blu-Ray will cost 5,000 yen, excluding tax. The limited edition Lockseed DVD will cost 7,000 yen, and the Blu-Ray will cost 8,000 yen.
