Godzilla 2 Release Date Announced

Legendary Pictures has announced the release date for the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla reboot.

Many studios have been using the end of blockbuster season to stake their claims to future release dates. Legendary Pictures threw their hat in the ring today when they announced that Godzilla 2 will hit theaters on June 8, 2018. This gives director Gareth Edwards time to complete his Star Wars project before returning to the franchise.

This news comes a few weeks after the announcement that the film could feature classic Toho kaiju Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah.
