Roberto Orci Joins Power Rangers Movie

The upcoming Power Rangers film has acquired a producer and screenwriters, according to major publications.

The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that Roberto Orci (The Amazing Spider-Man 1&2, Star Trek: Into Darkness) will serve as executive producer on the upcoming Power Rangers film from Saban Brands and Lionsgate (Divergent, The Hunger Games) in the near future. Roberto Orci  reportedly departed from production on The Amazing Spider-Man 3 recently. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Thor, X-Men: First Class) will be writing the script for the movie.

This news marks the first major developments for the project since it was announced earlier this year.
