Legendary Confirms Inclusion of Classic Toho Monsters in Godzilla 2

News regarding the sequel to this year’s Godzilla film surfaces at the Legendary panel in San Diego Comic Con 2014.

At the infamous Hall H at San Diego Comic Con today, Gareth Edwards, who couldn’t be at the event due to prior commitments, sent a video message thanking the fans for their support. He also mentioned that he looks forward to directing the much talked about sequel to Legendary’s Godzilla.

Legendary Entertainment head Thomas Tull then proceeded to show concept footage for the sequel that revealed the classic Toho kaiju Mothra, Rodan and Ghidorah. No word yet as to how they will be used or if they will even make it to the final product, but it was mentioned that these are the monsters that the production is looking to include in the sequel.
