Ultraman 50th Anniversary Avatar Items Available On XBox Live

New Ultraman-themed avatar items have suddenly appeared on XBox Live Marketplace, allowing you to turn yourself into Ultraman, Ultraseven and more!

Added as part of the Avatar Marketplace’s Lifestyle collection, the items currently available include shirts, hats, a virtual pet of the classic Ultra monster Gomess and costumes for Ultraman, Ultraseven (erroneously listed as “Ultraman Seven”), Ace, and Taro. The highlight of the collection, however, the “Ultraman Transformation” prop that shows your avatar turning into Ultraman complete with Beta Capsule. All the items range from .99¢ to $1.99.

This addition to the XBL Marketplace comes not from Tsuburaya Productions themselves but instead Sompote Sand’s Ultraman Forever campaign. The inclusion of the Hanuman shirt (featured above) comes from his appearance in the 1974 film The Six Ultra Brothers VS The Monster Army (aka Hanuman vs 7 Ultramen).
