Kamen Rider Wars Victor To Be Decided Through Fan Poll

top
It became known on February 8th that two endings have been filmed for the upcoming Heisei Rider vs Showa Rider Kamen Rider Wars feat. Super Sentai (to be released on March 29th).

One ending has the Showa Riders winning and other has the Heisei Riders being victorious. However, as to which side’s victory will make the final cut, it will be decided through a fan poll. A first for a Kamen Rider series. The result will be revealed during the premiere.

Producer Shinichiro Shirakura said “So far, numerous “VS” works have been produced. Not one of them have settled the score. We wanted to change that and filmed two endings. We then wanted the fans to choose which one they wanted”.

There have been 15 Heisei Kamen Riders, from Kamen Rider Kuuga to the still airing Kamen Rider Gaim. The Showa Riders, who started the legacy, are composed from “Kamen Rider 1” to “Kamen Rider J”. In this movie, with the number of Riders equaled, the Showa Riders, who fight evil while protecting society, fight against the Heisei Riders, who respect individual opinions and thoughts.

Producer Shirakura also said “There are opinions against having the Riders fight among themselves. Also, many feared that since the way Heisei Riders fight is varied and more evolved, they’d win easily. Having Hiroshi Fujioka returning, that changed completely. Having him appear and transform makes you think Heisei does not stand a chance.” A fierce battle is to be expected.

Having other former Riders besides Fujioka, like Ryo Hayami, “is different from anime. In here you can see the Riders have aged. However, that makes it better”.

Who will win, Heisei or Showa? Voting started today at 8:00 on the movie’s official page. All the theatres showing the movie will have voting booths starting late February. The poll will be closed the day before the premiere, March 28th.

I don’t really get how this would work.. I mean, with the more recent Heisei (ie. Double – Gaim), the toys/arsenal they have are just too overwhelming when put in comparison towards someone like Ichigo. Fighting aside, Double has his memories, 000 his medals, Fourze his switches, Wizard his rings, and Gaim his arms… with that much gear on the Heisei riders, how does the Showa place in a battle?

It WOULD however, be interesting to see the Heisei riders lose b/c of that. I can just imagine the outrage that would result in someone like V3 beating Wizard’s Golden Infinity Dragon state. lol.

Experience and teamwork. You don’t fight evil for 30-40 something years as a group and not pick up enough tricks to deal with inexperienced kids and their gadgets who have only worked together for a few minutes at best.

Well, the Showa Riders have much crazier feats than most of the Heisei ones, like surviving a nuke and creating a barrier that blocked a bomb meant to destroy Earth’s entire atmosphere. Black RX’s final boss goes alongside his entire planet when he explodes, and he walks away from that. The only Heisei Riders comparable are Kuuga and maybe Decade.

If the Showa Riders win, they could just make scene like when Rider 1 and 2 Rider Kicked -through- the Shocker Greeed’s blasts in Let’s Go Kamen Rider. Basically sheer raw power overcoming flashier attacks.

Didn’t decade beat all the riders once? So it won’t be easier for him to beat all the showa riders with the rest of the heisei riders?
