OLDCODEX To Provide Opening Theme For Netflix Ultraman Anime

Opening theme for Netflix’s Ultraman was revealed as well as design for the anime version of Ultra Seven.

On the official Twitter account for the anime for the upcoming Ultraman anime, it was revealed that the band OLDCODEX will provide the opening theme for the series. Having previously provided the opening theme for series such as Free! and Kuroko’s Basketball, the song will be entitled Sight Over The Battle.

Additionally, the design for the suit to be worn by Dan Moroboshi, referred to as Seven in the adaptation, has been revealed. The manga version of Dan Moroboshi may have the same name as the original Ultra Seven host, but is more cold and direct than his predecessor.

The anime will premiere worldwide on Netflix starting on April 1, 2019.
