Lupinranger vs Patoranger Cast Announced

The cast of the upcoming Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger has been announced.

The Lupinrangers, a team of mysterious phantom thieves, are played by 17 year old Itou Asahi as LunpinRed/Kairi Yano, who looks like a fake upon first glance and makes rash decisions when he is unsure. Hama Shougou (24 years old) plays LupinBlue/Touma Yoimachi described as cool, black-hearted and a person who forgets his own character when fighting the Gangler. Former Morning Musume member Kudo Haruka (18 years old) will play LupinYellow/Umika Hayami, who seems like a dumb little sister at first but actually moves at her own pace and is very firm. These three have each lost a person dear to them, a brother, a lover, and a female friend. In order to save these people, they have taken up the mantle of the Lupinrangers.

The red Patoren#1/Keiichiro Asaka is played by 23 year old Yuuki Kousei, a serious character aiming for a zero crime rate, leading him to be against both the Gangler and the Lupinrangers. The green Patoren#2/Sakuya Hikawa is played by 22 year old Yokohama Ryo and is a bright and obedient subordinate who is more concerned with the Lupinrangers. The pink Patoren#3/Tsukasa Myoujin is played by 23 year old Okuyama Kazusa, whose character acts as an older sister to Patoren#1 despite having been in the same class. Tsukasa has a neutral standpoint towards the Lupinrangers.

Additional cast members include Yoichi Nukumizu as a servant of Arsene Lupin’s descendants, Kogure, a mysterious butler who has promised to help the Lupinrangers find their missing loved ones. American actor Ike Nwala plays Commissioner Hilltop, who is in charge of the Patorangers. To the three Patorangers, he shows off a very passionate face, but also loves traditional Japanese sweets. Rie Kugimiya voices a robot named Jim Carter.

I love that the surnames for each team spell out “kai-to-u” and “kei-sa-tsu” respectively. Got some old school goodness.

I am terrified of robo Jim Carter.
