Bill Hader Announced as Voice of Alpha 5 for 2017 Power Rangers Movie

The Power Rangers movie announced actor and comedian Bill Hader as the voice of Alpha 5.

The Saturday Night Live alumni has been announced as the voice of Zordon’s robot assistant, Alpha 5. Like previous casting announcements, Hader’s announcement was posted to the Power Rangers movie social media accounts.

Hader’s previous roles include Sausage Party, the BFG, Silicon Valley, and Trainwreck.

He joins Brian Cranston as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, along with  Dacre Montgomery as Jason, RJ Cyler as Billy, Naomi Scott as Kimberly, Becky G as Trini, and Ludi Lin as Zack.

The Power Rangers film is currently being produced by Haim Saban, Brian Cassentini (of Saban Brands), and Allison Shearmur (Cinderella), with a script written by X-Men: First Class and Thor writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. The film is being directed by Dean Israelite.
