Hideo Ishiguro Speaks on His New Role as Ultraman Orb
The 27-year-old actor, who will be playing Kurenai Gai in the upcoming Ultraman Orb, recently commented on his new role.
When the show was officially announced, Ishiguro had a few words for the fans.
Even as a child, I never thought I could have the privilege of being on an Ultraman Stage.
I was only able to appreciate the world of Ultraman, I’ve only ever wanted to appreciate the monsters and heroes all in one stage. (Honestly, I appreciate the sculpt and molds of the kaiju more as an adult than as a child)
I am blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful staff and Director Taguchi, it’s a feeling I hold dearly.
I think it’d be great if the staff and I could work together to make the 50th Anniversary Ultraman Series into the best entertainment program, and I want to do my best for those who watch this new and different hero come to life.
He also tweeted about when the show would debut (July 9th at 9AM), and which hashtags fans could use to discuss the show.
