Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 Years After V-Cinema Announced

Toei has announced the release date of their next V-Cinema centered around 2005’s Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.

Revealed via a video posted on Toei’s YouTube channel, the main cast of Dekaranger announced the V-Cinema titled Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 Years After, which will be written by Naruhisa Arakawa (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) and directed by Noboru Takemoto (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: 100 Years After). This will be the second direct-to-video movie to bring back a Sentai team from the previous decade, the first being 2013’s Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After.

The V-Cinema will come in three different sets: the regular DVD set, the regular Blu-ray set and a Special Edition Blu-ray set. The Special Edition Blu-ray set will include an extra disk which contains a Making Of featurette, data files, trailers and audio commentary of the movie. The set will also come with a special booklet and a special CD.

The DVD will be priced at ¥ 4,860, the Blu-ray will cost ¥ 5,940 and the Special Edition Blu-ray will be priced at ¥ 10,584. The V-Cinema is listed on Amazon Japan with a run-time of 45 minutes, but that is subject to change. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 Years After is set to release on October 7th, 2015.
