Shout Factory Announces Release Of Zyuranger

In a surprise announcement from San Diego Comic-Con, Shout! Factory revealed that they will be releasing Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger on DVD.
Confirmed via Shout Factory’s official Twitter, this will be the first-ever uncut Super Sentai series release in the States. However, the release date for Zyuranger has yet to be revealed.
Broadcast in 1992, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger was the basis for the first season of Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Tyrannoranger Geki’s actor, Yuuta Mochizuki, will be attending Power Morphicon 4 in Pasadena, CA this August.

Well, I feel bad for the fansubbers, but I think that it’s better to support the series. That way they’ll bring more stuff like it over to the states. Maybe even Kamen Rider. This is awesome.

I feel really bad for Shir, FortMax, and the rest of the GUIS gang, they just finished subbing it maybe a year ago.
On the other side of things however, I’m elated to hear about a Super Sentai, no matter which, getting an uncut, full US release. I’m just wondering what the price and release date are gonna be

I hope they decide to bring Car Ranger in, its the Sentai that helped save the Sentai Series…and ironicly for Power Rangers nearly killed it. Funny how life works. I’d also like Gokaiger on DVD but I think any fans of Sentai would want that
