Gen Urobuchi Still Writing Episodes of Kamen Rider Gaim
Gen Urobuchi, writer of Kamen Rider Gaim, has taken to Twitter to talk about writing for the show and the episodes that still remain to be written.
From his Twitter:
I can say now that the year I spent working on a content giant like Kamen Rider is something I’ll treasure. I am really glad I accepted this offer. Now I want to keep this feeling of happiness and run through the end.
In a tweet response to Metal Yoshida, who plays Oren in the show, Urobuchi goes on to talk about still having to work on the last few episodes:
No, there are a few episodes left. I am right at the climax. Cannot relax just yet.
Kamen Rider Gaim episodes currently being filmed are roughly 7 to 8 ahead of the episodes being broadcast, with the 34th episode airing Sunday, June 22nd. This would mean, therefore, that Gaim is more or less filming episode 41 at this time.
Reports from actors implied that Gaim would have a shorter run than the usual 50-odd episode series. Furthermore, the Kamen Rider/Super Sentai summer movies will be opening in cinemas one month earlier than the usual first weekend of August.
Given the current evidence, we could surmise that Gaim‘s total episode count may end up being around the 46 episode range.
