Hiroshi Fujioka, Reprising His Role as Kamen Rider
The actor, Hiroshi Fujioka, who portrayed the original Kamen Rider, will be reprising his role in Heisei Rider VS Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai.
While he did some voice acting as the Kamen Rider for OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let’s Go Kamen Riders, this time he’ll be transforming on screen for the first time in 38 years. The last time he transformed was in Everyone Gather! The 7 Kamen Riders!, which aired January 3rd, 1976.
The movie will premiere March 29th, with Takayuki Shibasaki directing, and Shoji Yonemura writing it.

Oh man..this is amazing. This definitely brings some legitimacy to this rider movie. It’s the real deal, not some throwaway rider movie with suits and fake voice actors. The first ever Kamen Rider, Ichigo!!! from 1971. Coming back in 2014!! Now why couldn’t he reprise his role in the 40th anniversary rider movie in person??? Oh well whatever, hes back for real this time!!! I’m sight for this movie!!

It is, but that’s alright with. It’s Fujioka! I’m really looking forward to this one now. Wonder if we might get the Double Riders together again…
