Video Content Creators
Are you a tokusatsu fan creating interesting, informative, or fun content on YouTube? Do you have a cool idea for a tokusatsu video essay or series? Come join our YouTube team and bring your ideas to life as you create new content for tokusatsu fans to enjoy
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Brainstorming new content ideas with the team
- Writing scripts
- Producing and filming videos
- Editing videos
Community Manager
Do like chatting with other tokusatsu fans? Want to help cultivate an inclusive community? We’re looking to bring on a Community Manager to help engage and interact with our readers.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Responding to comments on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts
- Managing and creating fun interactions on our TokuNet Community Discord server
- Coming up with exciting giveaways
News Hound
If you’re the type of person who scours Japanese blogs and news sites for the latest on tokusatsu, then we want you as our News Hound! The News Hound is in charge of finding credible sources of tokusatsu news and information for our writers to cover on the site.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Checking for news on a daily basis
- Assigning articles to writers
- Regularly following up with writers on their assignments
Writers
Covering tokusatsu news and creating content is our number one passion at Team TokuNet. If you’re passionate about writing and tokusatsu, then consider joining our team of writers!
Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Writing news articles when assigned in a timely manner
- Coming up with editorials or other fun articles
At this time, all positions are unpaid and on a volunteer basis. We are working very hard to make these positions paid in the future! All staff members after a 6 month trial period are compensated with press access to events, references for your resume, birthday gifts, and more as a thank you for your hard work.
