Vulcan Brace Memorial Edition Releasing on Premium Bandai

On February 2nd, 2026, Premium Bandai announced the release of a Memorial Edition of the Vulcan Brace from Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan.

Just a day after the climactic end of the Super Sentai series and 45 years after the original series aired, Premium Bandai announced that the Vulcan Brace will be the next item to hit the Memorial Edition toy line. The Vulcan Brace is the signature transformation device from Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan which allows them to access their ranger forms depending on the plate inserted. The braces go on sale on February 9th, 2026 and cost ¥16,500, tax included. Preorders close on April 14th, with shipments starting in August 2026.

The Vulcan Brace Memorial Edition includes the brace, a plate for VulEagle, VulShark, VulPanther and a display stand which takes two AA batteries sold separately. The braces themselves are rechargeable through a slot on the display stand with contact pins. The charging port is hidden by a removable lid. Each plate has built-in LEDs which match the color of their ranger. After two minutes of charging, the Vulcan Brace can be used for up to 3 minutes.

The brace can play various sound effects and transformation jingles by tapping a button on the side of the brace. Examples include the Vulcan Eye, Eagle Wing, Shark Jaws and Jumping sound effects.

The display stand also includes a BGM button which can play various songs like the TV size intro to Sun Vulcan. It does not come with a storage option for the unused plates.
