Gozyuger TegaSword -MEMORIAL EDITION- & MEMOREALIZE DATA CARD Set Announced

With the Gozyuger TV series ending soon, Premium Bandai announced the latest releases in their MEMORIAL EDITION collection series, the No.1 Sentai Gozyuger TegaSword -MEMORIAL EDITION- set and MEMOREALIZE DATA CARD set from the 49th Super Sentai series, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger.

“Engage! Clap your hands! (エンゲイジ!クラップ ユア ハンズ！) “

TegaSword is mainly used by the Gozyugers to transform, which is done by placing one of the Gozyuger Sentai Rings into the slot below the TegaSword’s blade. It can also be used with one of the Universe Warrior Sentai Rings to transform into one of the previous Sentai Reds that preceded the Gozyugers as well as the primary mecha of the Gozyugers. TegaSword is able to communicate to the Gozyugers through the Gold TegaSword, though he can also possess it to perform forcibly transformation if needed.

The Memorial Edition is a significant upgrade compared to the DX release when it comes to size, appearance, and sound specifications. This version is 130% larger compared to the DX release and has been redesigned to be more show accurate to the TegaSword seen in the series when held by an adult. In addition, it is still compatible with the DX Sentai Ring Series (sold separately).

The grip on this version features a new BGM Button, Dialogue Button, and Applause Detection Button. Lines from TegaSword (voiced by Yuki Kaji) can be played as well as three memorable BGM, which includes the show’s opening theme, “Winner! Gozyuger!” The Applause Detection Button allows the user to activate the clap sounds at any time. The sounds include the cheers of the cheering squad, which is synonymous with the Gozyuger transformation scene, allowing the user to fully experience the Number One Battle just like in the TV series.

New Engage sounds and special move sounds have also been added, giving the user an evolved sound experience. The range of sounds played can be expanded with the separately sold No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger Memorealize Data Cards.

Using the same mechanism of that of the DX version, this version can also transform into its Robot Mode. Aside from including the Sentai Ring Gozyu Wolf and Sentai Ring TegaSword Red, this version also comes with the TegaSword Red Face Part, so that the proportions of TegaSword Red’s face will still match after transformation. The item requires 3 AAA batteries (sold separately).

Enhancing the Number One Battle experience, Premium Bandai is also releasing the No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger MEMOREALIZE DATA CARD Gozyuger set.

The MEMOREALIZE DATA CARD Gozyuger set adds new character voices and background music by inserting it to the TegaSword – Memorial Edition- (sold separately). The set comes with cards for the five Gozyugers: Hoeru Tono (portrayed by Mio Fuyuno), Rikuo Byakuya (portrayed by Hideharu Suzuki), Ryugi Bakugami (portrayed by Masakazu Kanda), Kinjiro Takehara (portrayed by Jin Matsumoto), and Sumino Ichikawa (portrayed by Kohaku Shida).

Each card includes newly recorded character voices and two different background music tracks. The audio before and after transformation is included. The expanded audio for each card also includes the opening line for the Number One Battle and special move sounds.
