Kohei Shoji Joins The Cast Of Kamen Rider Gavv

Mashin Sentai Kiramager’s Kohei Shoji has joined the cast of Kamen Rider Gavv.

Kohei Shoji, known for his previous role as Takamichi Crystalia/Kiramei Silver in 2020’s Mashin Sentai Kiramager has joined the cast of Kamen Rider Gavv. In his new role, Shoji plays Lage 9, a Granute under the employment of the Stomach Family organization sent to gather human stock to make Dark Candy. Equipped with a new transformation belt, Lage 9 is able to transform into Kamen Rider Vram.

Regarding his new role, Shoji commented;

“My name is Kohei Shoji, and I will be playing Kamen Rider Vram/Granute Lage 9. I never thought I would have such an oppoortunity… in 2020, I made my debut in the Super Sentai series ‘Mashin Sentai Kiramager’, and five years later, I am stepping back into the world of tokusatsu as a Kamen Rider.

For those who watched me back then, I want to show you how I’ve grown, and for the viewers who will meet (Lage 9) in this show, I want to show you a sweet and bitter character, like the pudding that is the motif of Vram.

Hello to all the little heroes who watch ‘Kamen Rider Gavv’ every week! The man in the black cloak, Lage 9, jumps into Gavv’s world. He may be a little scary, but I’m sure you’ll think he’s cool! Look forward to it!”

Lage 9 will make his official debut as Kamen Rider Vram in episode 17 of Kamen Rider Gavv, which will premiere on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Japan.
