Premium Bandai Announces Go-Onger Transformation Cellular Go-Phone -MEMORIAL EDITION-

Premium Bandai announced the latest release in their MEMORIAL EDITION collection series, the Engine Sentai Go-Onger Go-Phone -MEMORIAL EDITION- set from the 32nd Super Sentai series, Engine Sentai Go-Onger.

“Change Soul, set! Let’s Go-On!”

The Transformation Cellular Go-Phone is a device that only Sosuke (Go-On Red), Renn (Go-On Blue) and Saki (Go-On Yellow) can use during the series. It has various functions such as transforming them to the Go-Ongers by inserting the blue Change Soul in the phone and by saying the transformation phrase “Change Soul, set! Let’s Go-On!”

The transformation item, Go-Phone from Engine Sentai Go-Onger is now available in a memorial version with dialogue and BGM from the TV series. The set includes the Go-Phone itself and one Change Soul to transform into a Go-Onger.

Hidden screws have been added to the front and back of the main body to create a realistic shape that is closer to the one in the TV series. When the user sets the Change Soul into the Go-Phone, the transformation sounds that turn the user into a Go-Onger plays. Users can also enjoy lines recorded by Go-On Red/Sosuke Esumi (portrayed by Yasuhisa Furuhara) and Engine Speedor (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa) as well as the BGM from the TV series.

Furthermore, it is equipped with “Engine Combination Mode”. By entering commands with the numeric keypad, the user can play four types of fusion lines by Sosuke Esumi and Engine Speedor, namely, Engine Oh Combination, G6 Formation, G9 Formation, and G12 Formation.  The BGM includes the opening theme “Engine Sentai Go-Onger”, which is often played during the transformation/introduction scene, as well as “Engine Oh! Tune-up!”, which is played when Engine-Oh is combined.

When the user presses the newly installed back button of the Change Soul, sound effects such as the sound of opening the Go-Phone lid and the sound of setting up the Change Soul will liven up the transformation role play. Character lines such as “Let’s go at Mach Speed!”  and “Change Soul, set!” will play alongside the BGM during the transformation sequence. LEDs will also light up. 3 x LR44 batteries are required (included).
