Trailer
When the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club spin-off Kamen Rider Jeanne and Kamen Rider Aguilera with Girls Remix was first announced, lead actresses Ayaka Imoto and Yui Asakura alluded to exciting guest stars appearing in this three-episode special. Over the course of July, six past Kamen Rider heroines were revealed, making the spin-off truly worthy of the name “Girls Remix.”
First to be announced were two prominent heroines of Kamen Rider‘s Reiwa era: Is (left, Kamen Rider Zero-One, 2019~2020) and Reika Shindai (right, Kamen Rider Saber, 2020~2021) played by Noa Tsurushima and Angela Mei, respectively.
Fans were met the following week with the reveal of the chief of Narumi Detective Agency, Akiko Narumi (left, Kamen Rider W, 2009~2010), and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid‘s (2016~2017) Poppy Pipopapo! Even though a number of years have passed since their respective series, it is always a welcome sight to see actresses like Hikaru Yamamoto (Akiko) and Ruka Matsuda (Poppy) return to Kamen Rider.
The final announcement leading to the spin-off’s premiere on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club unveils Rinko Daimon (left, Kamen Rider Wizard, 2012~2013) and Kamen Rider Valkyrie (right, Kamen Rider Zero-One, 2019~2020). Unlike Yuko Takayama (Rinko) and the other returning actors, Hiroe Igeta’s (Valkyrie) is only in voice, but as the first female Kamen Rider of the Reiwa era, her return is still a welcome sight to see.
Although not a returning actress, Toei also announced that the actress Ayane will play the role of Yuriko Natsuki, Hana’s older sister.
Episode 1 Synopsis
As women who can all transform into Kamen Riders, Reika Shindai, Is, Poppy Pipopapo, Sakura, and Hana are called upon to gather at the Shiawase Yu bath house by Akiko Narumi to aid in her investigation. The women are excited to meet each other, but Hana is the only one who does not share in their joy, troubled by a letter she received from her older sister. Unsure of whether or not to meet with her sister Yuriko, Hana leaves Shiawase Yu, dragging Akiko with her. At this time, the mysterious organization Black Satan appears to usher in Hana as head of the organization! Seeing Hana caught in a pinch, Sakura fights her way through to protect her friend…
