This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 9/6/21 – 9/10/21

The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the first full week of September 2021 features new merchandise from the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Godzilla, and Ultra Series.

Beginning this week’s roundup, we first have the Kamen Rider (Showa Series) Neckties. Each is a tie inspired from the Kamen Rider series of the Showa era.

It can be used on a daily basis, with each Showa Kamen Rider’s symbol incorporated into the design. The color is based on the image of a Showa Kamen Rider. The ties measure a total length of approx. 145 cm and a sword width of approx. 8.0 cm. Each is made of 100% silk.

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Kamen Rider Series, we have the Kamen Rider Revice & Kamen Rider Series Scarf. This scarf is designed with the Rider symbols from Kamen Rider 1 to Kamen Rider Revice. Since the scarf measures approx. 52 cm x 52 cm, it can be wrapped around your neck or attached to your bag for an accent. The scarf is made of 100% polyester.

The Kamen Rider Revice & Kamen Rider Series Scarf from the Kamen Rider Series will go for 3,300 Yen (tax included) each and are scheduled for shipment in December 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting September 8, 2021, at 10:00 JST.

To celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai Series, Premium Bandai is releasing the Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger Zenkai Vroon & Blue Senshi T-Shirt.

This is a t-shirt with the face of Zenkai Vroon from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger as well as the faces of the previous Blue Senshi, from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger to Mashin Sentai Kiramager. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes:

Soaring into the Ultra Series, we have the Ultraman Roll Tops Backpack Collection featuring Ultraman Tiga’s GUTS, Ultraman Dyna’s Super GUTS, and Ultraman Gaia’s XIG. Each is a roll-top backpack with the respective organization’s member style design and is arranged for casual use. Each team’s logo is embroidered on the backpack.

The size is slimmer and more compact than a typical roll-top backpack, so it can be used by both men and women. The main part of the backpack has a large capacity due to the gusset on the bottom. The back side has a zipper for direct access to the main section. The front pocket has two layers, and the large pocket has a magnetic closure for easy opening and closing. The front most pocket has a zipper pocket for keys and other small items. The vertical design has a large surface that adheres to the body, so the mesh on the back ensures air permeability. Each is made of 100% polyester and measures a width of 27 cm x height of 38 cm, and a diameter of 12 cm.

The Ultraman Tiga GUTS Roll Top Backpack is a roll-top backpack with a GUTS member style design from Ultraman Tiga. The design is based on the image of the GUTS members’ jackets in the TV series.

The Ultraman Dyna Super GUTS Roll Top Backpack is a roll-top backpack with the Super GUTS member style design from Ultraman Dyna. The design is based on the image of the members’ jackets from the TV series.

The Ultraman Gaia XIG Roll Top Backpack is a roll-top backpack with the XIG member design from Ultraman Gaia. The design is based on the image of the members’ jackets from the TV series.

The Ultraman Roll Tops Backpack Collection featuring Ultraman Tiga‘s GUTS, Ultraman Dyna‘s Super GUTS, and Ultraman Gaia‘s XIG will go for 9,900 Yen (tax included) each and are scheduled for shipment in January 2022. Preorders are being accepted starting September 8, 2021, at 10:00 JST.

From the 1971 film, Godzilla vs. Hedorah, comes the Godzilla Hedorah Tabletop Mop. The design of this mop is based on the flight phase of the pollution monster, Hedorah. There’s a pocket on the back for your hand, so it’s easy to hold. It can also be used as a plush toy for interior decoration.

It is made of polyester and measures a width of approx. 160 mm x height of 105 mm x diameter of 100 mm. The product photos and specifications shown are only prototypes. The colors in the photos may differ slightly from the actual product. When washing, please hand-wash gently. There are some individual differences due to sewn products.

The Godzilla Hedorah Tabletop Mop from Godzilla vs. Hedorah will go for 3,520 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in December 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting September 7, 2021, at 13:00 JST.
