The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the first week of August 2021 features new merchandise from the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultra Series. 

“A New Hero, A New Legend”. Starting off this weekly roundup, we have new Kamen Rider Kuuga One Point apparel including an adventure hat, caps, and a t-shirt. On the front is an embroidered design of the Kamen Rider Kuuga logo. The design is simple, so it can be used for casual wear.

The Kamen Rider Kuuga One-Point Embroidery Adventure Hat is made of 100% cotton. You can use the back size adjustment belt to adjust the head circumference from 56 cm to 58 cm.

The Kamen Rider Kuuga One-Point Embroidery Adventure Hat from Kamen Rider Kuuga will go for 4,400 Yen (tax included).

The Kamen Rider Kuuga One Point Embroidery Cap is available in two types: cap and work cap. The cap and work cap can be used for casual wear. It comes with a size adjustment on the back. Each measures 58 cm with a size adjustment of 56 cm – 60 cm. Both are made of 100% cotton.

Next, we have the Kamen Rider Wizard HARUTO Necklace (Haruto Soma Model). Haruto Soma, the main character of Kamen Rider Wizard, wears this accessory before he transforms. The gothic image of the black spinel is combined with a small pendant top in the motif of a dragon’s head The result is a unique finish. The popular black spinel is a nepheline with a shiny black color. It is also famous as a power stone. Using two strands of this black spinel is the HARUTO way. The necklace is made of Black spinel, stainless steel wire, and plated brass while the pendant top is made of silver925. The Black Spinel measures 4 mm with a length of approx. 43 cm (including adjuster 5 cm). The pendant measures approximately 17 mm (length) by 8 mm (width).

To go with the necklace, we also have the Kamen Rider Wizard HARUTO Belt (Haruto Soma Model). This belt is worn by Haruto Soma, the main character of Kamen Rider Wizard, before he transforms. Accessorize with the Kamen Rider Build Harold’s Gear DG Watch SENTO MODEL/REBOOT EDITION. The watch worn by Sento Kiryu in the first episode of Kamen Rider Build is back, as Premium Bandai has received many requests for its re-release even after several years have passed since the broadcast ended. This time, the product concept is “REBOOT”.

While keeping the design of the numeral dial, many aspects of the product were reviewed and redesigned to make it easier to use. The previously developed products were custom-made by watch craftsmen who handcrafted them one by one. However, because of this, it was a bit of a hurdle for ordinary people to handle. Some people said, “It’s too good to waste” or “I want to use it more casually. It has been redeveloped as the REBOOT EDITION so that people can wear it more casually while keeping the good design.

Since all the designs are newly drawn, there are a wide range of changes, but here are the typical changes. All metal parts have been plated while keeping the brass material. Water resistance has been changed from non-waterproof to 3 ATM (3 atm). Changed the length of the leather belt from the size worn by the model to a general-purpose size by stretching it by about 2cm. Changed from brand-name leather to leather material for belts. Changed the thickness of the case to a slightly slimmer shape. The Kamen Rider Build logo is engraved on the back cover.

The design of Harold’s Gear has been maintained, but the product is now easier to use and more affordable. The watch main body case (including metal fittings) measures approx. 50 mm (main body only 40 mm) × 8 mm thickness while the belt total length measures approx. 283 mm x width of 47 mm (total length when the main body case is attached) and the attached leather belt measures approx. 37 mm x 125 mm. The body is made of brass, the back cover is made of stainless steel, and the belt is made of cowhide. It uses a small silver oxide battery.

To celebrate the 45th of Super Sentai series, we have the Super Sentai Series Hero Design merchandise including a muffler towel and a pouch. Each item is designed with the faces of the successive Red Senshi from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger to Mashin Sentai Kiramager along with Zenkaizer from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.
