Kamen Rider Saber DX Haouken Xross Saber Revealed

Bandai Toys announced their newest release in the Kamen Rider Saber DX toyline, the DX Haouken Xross Saber from Kamen Rider Saber. 

“Seiba Battou! Majiwaru Jū-pon no Ken! Xross Saber! Xross Saber! Xross Saber! Haouken Xross Saber! Sōsei no jūji! Kirameku hoshi-tachi no kiseki to tomoni! Kedakaki chikara yo yūki no honō!” Xross Saber is Xross Saber’s dragon-based primary final form accessed by using the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book with the Haouken Xross Saber in the Seiken Swordriver.

To transform, the user first needs to open the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book. Next, they need to set it into the DX Seiken Swordriver (sold separately) while the DX Haouken Xross Saber is set. Then, pull out the Haouken Xross Saber to transform into Kamen Rider Xross Saber. Changing the set Wonder Ride Books will transform the user into three main other forms: Kamen Rider Hybrid Saber (Brave Dragon and King of Arthur), Kamen Rider Crimson Saber (Brave Dragon, Storm Eagle and Saiyuu Journey), and Kamen Rider Featuring Saber (Brave Dragon, Lion Senki and Lamp Do Alangina) as well as many other side forms.

The Haouken Xross Saber has its own solo gimmick where the user can slide the emblem of this Sacred Sword, and pull the trigger to select a Sacred Sword. Sliding the emblem and pressing the trigger, mixes and matches different Sacred Sword combination attacks. Pressing the center of the emblem and sliding it also gives it functionality. Collect the power of the 10 Sacred Sword to activate a special move. Lastly, this DX toy has a dialogue mode that features 10 types of dialogue from Touma Kamiyama. It requires 3 AAA batteries (sold separately).

The DX Haouken Xross Saber from Kamen Rider Saber will go for 5,720 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release on June 5th, 2021.
