This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 3/22/21 – 3/26/21

The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for the final full week of March 2021 features a Premium Bandai exclusive figure diorama as well as new merchandise from the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and GARO series. 

Starting off this week’s roundup, we have the HG Structure figure diorama. Introducing a set of structures to shoot with the Gashapon HG series figures. You can shoot with the composition of the tilt to create a huge feeling, or you can enjoy it by assembling it like a miniature garden. There are endless ways to enjoy it. The set includes: 4 highways, 2 large factories, 2 small factories, 3 vehicles, 4 high pressure lines, 4 tanks, 16 buildings, 1 building window mount, 12 utility poles (large, medium and small), 10 roads, 4 Kakiwari Buildings, a background (double-sided printing), 2 background pedestals, and 16 road joints. Everything is made of ABS and PP. The highways each measures a height of approx. 55 mm. The large factories each measure a height of approx. 35 mm while the small factories measure a height of approx. 15 mm. Each vehicle measures a height of approx. 10 mm and each high-voltage line measures a height of approx. 60 mm. Each tank measures a height of approx. 20 mm. Each building measures a height of approx. 30 to 50 mm. Each utility pole measures a height of about 20 mm to about 30mm. Each road measures a width of about 90 mm and each Kakiwaribiru measures a height of approx 20 mm. Each background measures a height of 210 mm.

The HG Structure figure diorama will go for 7,700 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in May 2021. Preorders are being accepted until March 26, 2021, at 23:00 JST.

Going straight into the Kamen Rider Series, we have the Showa Kamen Rider Metal Buckle Mega Body Bag (Synthetic Leather). It is a vintage-style synthetic leather bag with a design inspired by Kamen Rider. The matte metal buckle and D-can, which are full of ruggedness, and the concho with the logo motif of the antique taste, are made of synthetic leather with a moderate vintage feel. It has a three-dimensional zipper pocket on the side. In addition, the interior is functional with a pocket for pen stabs and smartphones. The bag can store A4 size documents. It measures approx. 35 cm vertically x approx. 22 cm horizontally (excluding side pockets) x approx. 11 cm gusset. The bag is made of synthetic leather (polyurethane). It comes in three designs: Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider V3, and Kamen Rider BLACK.

The Showa Kamen Rider Metal Buckle Mega Body Bag (Synthetic Leather) will go for 9,350 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in July 2021. Preorders are being accepted today.

Ready to Go, Count ZERO! We have the Kamen Rider Agito Mark One Point t-shirt. The shirt features Kamen Rider Agito’s symbol on the front. The back has Agito’s Wiseman Monolith found on the center of his chest armor and the words “MASKED RIDER ΑGITΩ”. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L).

Walk the path of heaven to rule everything with the Kamen Rider Kabuto Mark One Point t-shirt. The shirt features Kamen Rider Kabuto’s symbol on the front. The back has Kamen Rider Kabuto’s Kabuto Zecter and the words “CLOCK UP!” and “MASKED RIDER KABUTO”. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), and XL (US L).

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Gaoranger, we have the Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger 20th GAO t-shirt. The shirt features the 20th-anniversary logo which has “20th HYAKUJU SENTAI GAORANGER” with the iconic “GAO” logo behind it. The shirt also has the individual Gaoranger symbols in team roll call pose formation order and each individual Gaoranger name romanized: “GAORED”, “GAOYELLOW”, “GAOBLUE”, “GAOBLACK”, “GAOWHITE”, and “GAOSILVER”. It is made of 100% cotton and comes in sizes: M (US S), L (US M), XL (US L), and 2XL (US XL).

Bringing back the GARO series, we have the GARO Magic Tool Goruba bracelet. Goruba is the Madō Bracelet to Dan the White Knight in the original Series. The bracelet later makes an appearance in The Crimson Moon anime series belonging to Zanga the White Lotus Knight. The bracelet is made with heavy alloy specifications and features a movable mouth. The bracelet is made of alloy and paint. The inner diameter measures approx. 65 mm with a width of approx. 20 mm.

The GARO Magic Tool Goruba bracelet from GARO will go for 15,400 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in June 2021. Preorders are being accepted until April 18, 2021, at 23:00 JST.
