SMP Hyakujuu Gattai GaoKing Announced

Premium Bandai announced their first release in the new Shokugan Modeling Project model kit line, the Hyakujuu Gattai GaoKing set from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger.

The Shokugan Modeling Project is a rebrand of the Super Mini-Pla model kit line. Outside of the name change, it continues to deliver the same quality of product. The first entry in this new line is GaoKing from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger.

Hyakujuu Gattai GaoKing is the combination of the five main Gaorangers’ totem Power Animals: GaoLion, GaoEagle, GaoShark, GaoBison, and GaoTiger. GaoKing was first introduced in Episode 2 to fight against Barbwire Org. GaoKing is armed with the Fin Blade formed from GaoShark’s tail, and it can perform the Shark Shot and Tiger Attack punches.

The model kit allows the Power Animals to transform into three modes: Carrier mode, Mid-transformation mode, and robot mode. The set comes with three model kits: Gao Lion & Gao Eagle, Gao Shark & Gao Tiger, and Gao Bison. An extra GaoKing “roaring” face is also included as well as a piece of Ramune Confectionery. The model kits are made of ABS and PS. When assembled, GaoKing measures a height of approximately 150 mm x width of approximately 100 mm.

The SMP Hyakujuu Gattai GaoKing set from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger will go for 5,445 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in July 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting March 19, 2021, at 13:00 JST.
