Nebula Mask Machineman’s Osamu Sakuta Passes Away at 62

Osamu Sakuta, who portrayed the lead character in Nebula Mask Machineman has passed away.

Sakuta was born on July 9, 1958 in Kagoshima Prefecture. He portrayed Ken Takase, the main character of the tokusatsu drama Nebula Mask Machineman in 1984. He has also done many voice acting and dubbing roles such as portraying Shishinki in the InuYasha: The Final Act anime and Leon Vance in NCIS respectively.

On the evening of December 4, 2020, Sakuta passed away due to pancreatic cancer at the age of 62.

His agency commented:

He (Sakuta) was a warm person who didn’t play favorites and was loved by many. We would be very happy if everyone could love on the many works he left behind.
